Live Concert Answers
Have you watched the "Live Earth Concert" if so, did it make you want to change youre lifestyle?
Q. I know that it made me realize some damage in the world, but in the concerts didn't they use a lot of energy? I don't understand how they could be promoting to stop something when for 24 hours they were waisting it. Do any of you agree with me?

A. Not at all! You're right about the concert using all this energy. And in the commercials in between they implied by sending a text you can change the world. If people spent the time they spent watching the concert and did something active instead, like volunteering, or researching or other things that most people are probably too lazy to do a lot more would have been done. I just feel like the concert appeased lazy people's conscious by making them feel better about themselves for doing nothing.

"Concert" Music video?
Q. Ok, so I found a music video audition that will be hosted next week, and the person that e-mailed me back said that I need to "show your skills" I am scared to audition now. This music video is for a rock band, and I am not sure how the producers would want me to act/ dance. Not many people dance at a rock concert. They said to bring go go attire or rock attire. Any advice would help! Oh forgot to add that if I hit this off they mentioned this could lead to more acting jobs... huge plus! The band is Bon Jovi

What are the "concert" notes for the clarinet?
Q. In band class our teacher will say to play a concert __. I want to know which note goes with which concert note (all of them). I know to play a C when he says play concert B flat but what about the others?

A. As a Bb instrument, when your conductor asks for a note, you will play the note that is a whole-step (two half-steps) up from the one he gives you. So... If your teacher asks for a G you will play an A (skipping G#). G = A G# (or Ab) = A# (or Bb) A = B A# (or Bb) = B# (or C) --- If you want to think about it, since your instrument is in Bb (which is LOWER than C) you will have to compensate by playing a higher note so you are playing the same note as your fellow musicians. Instruments that are already in C (like flute, oboe, trombone etc...) don't have to compensate. If you have more questions, feel free to e-mail me.

Do you think its stupid to go for a Hatsune Miku Live concert ?
Q. First of all , Miku is a computer generated voice . Itself Miku is not a human / living thing . People go to a concert for the live music and obviously the singer's voice . On the other hand , we have Miku , which is computer generated and its auto tuned voice sounds like a shrieky mouse . Don't you think its stupid to pay like 100$ for a concert where u can get on the internet ? The so called " live concert " seems more like " Recorded Concert ". Everything from Miku is pure from computer . Nothing is Live . Except the band who actually plays the guitar and drums .. etc.

A. I don't think so. It's not so diferent from an human live concert you know... Even Miku not being human, we also have the band there playing famous songs. Also, her voice can be used in many ways, so depending on the song, she can sound pretty human. Yeah, you can watch the concerts on the internet, but the feeling, the atmosphere and emotion to be there with the vocaloids and all those people that like the same thing, it's completely diferent. You can download an DVD of an live show from an singer/band you like. Than why would you pay to go on the live show? What's the diference here? Q. i just spent the last 2 days downloading dave matthews band "the central park concert" only to find that the format was some kind of .iso that didn't even work when i burned it to dvd or mounted it. anyway, i was wondering if anybody knew any sites that hosted downloads of live concerts free either without torrents or the wretched .iso format. any help would be appreciated, thanks! i have a mac, so the orbit downloader won't work i don't think

Q. I need an attractive name for "music concert" that fits with the event I am organizing. The event is centered around Victorian/Edwardian era, and I wanted something a little fancy for the event name, which is going to be five bands playing different songs. Q. Is this hip-hop concert an event that a white teenager would be able to go to without any problems? I know its allowed but is there excessive drinking, smoking, language, etc.? Is it somewhere i could bring my parents? (not that im going to) The reason i mentioned white is because im guessing the audience would be mostly black. (I dont have a problem at all, i just dont want any issues)
